FILM PRODUCTION

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

During a global pandemic, the killing of one man sparked the biggest social movement in history. Cities all over the world erupted in protest, fueled by centuries of racial tension. To sit idly by during this historic event was not an option. We picked up our cameras, our masks, and our courage, and proceeded to film 25 protests throughout Los Angeles County with the goal of capturing the spirit and passion of the moment. The film, along with the original song by Rayna Zemel, Chief Wakil, and Kelli Wakili, is a tribute to those who have lost their lives due to police brutality, and to those who risk their health and safety to stand up for change. Do your part & be part of the conversation. Like, comment, share, protest, post, speak out, contact your representatives, VOTE - your actions make you who you are. Silence is not an option. “If it hadn’t been for the media - the print media and television - the civil rights movement would have been like a bird without wings, a choir without a song.” - REP John Lewis
