Passionate, extroverted, Rayna Zemel has a varied background in the entertainment industry as a touring playback engineer, recording & mix engineer, and film producer.

After graduating with a degree in Political Science from the University of Vermont, Rayna decided to pursue a career in the music industry and moved to Los Angeles, where she began working as an audio engineer at Atlantic Records and eventually ended up working in the touring industry as a playback engineer. She has worked for leading musical institutions such as Paramount Recording Studio, Atlantic Records, and The Los Angeles Recording School. Her production credits include Alice Smith, Meital Dohan, Hannibal Leq, and Masia One, among others. Additionally, she has produced, recorded, and licensed music for TV and film including: Bad Moms, Blacklisted, Love and Hip Hop, and BET Hip Hop Awards.

Now, Rayna is a music producer, playback engineer, live show designer, photographer, film producer, and consultant. While touring the world with the likes of Pentatonix,The Lonely Island, Logic, Lana del Rey, Dua Lipa, PRETTYMUCH, Kiesza, and more, she has continued to take on projects ranging from film production (We Can’t Breathe, 2020), to composing for TV (Letters to Liam, 2021), to professional photography, and more. 

After the touring industry shut down in 2020, Rayna pursued her passion for documentary photography. Rayna has documented over 120 protests in the Los Angeles area, her work and efforts are featured in the short film “We Can’t Breathe,” which was awarded Best Music Video and Audience Award at the 2021 San Luis Obispo Film Festival. Additionally, the film is the Official Selection at the Cleveland Film Festival and Athena Film Festival.

Rayna is currently on tour playing guitar and running playback for Kiesza on the Artemis Tour.
